WASHINGTON: Chinese President Xi Jinping told us President Joe Biden on Monday during their virtual summit that the two countries must increase “communication” and face challenges “together,” in the midst of Taiwan’s problems and other light problems.
“China and the United States need to improve communication and cooperation,” Xi said, adding that he was happy to “see my old friend” Biden and that he was ready to work with US leaders.
“Humanity lives in the global village,” and the nations must “face together challenges,” Xi added.
