Patna: Six criminals on three motorbikes looted more than RS41.41 Lakh from the gas station employees owned by former Minister Veena Shahi near the Atal Road below the Patliputra Police Station area on Monday.
The incident occurred at around 305 a.m.
when three Gas station employees Maa Janki located in Hajipur in the Vaishali district were on our way to R-Block on Patna to deposit money at the Bank of India branch.
The criminals, who have covered their faces with helmets and masks, stopped the car allegating that it ran against their motorcycle.
As soon as the car driver stopped, the robbers grabbed the bag containing money.
Three fuel outlet employees, including manager Anunay Kumar, traveled in the car.
The bag was held by one Sanjeet in the back seat.
He was attacked with a stump gun when he opposed booty.
The manager told the police that they had left the residence of the former minister at Patliputra Colony Baru for banks with cash.
The robbers walked a car near the Atal Path on Jalan Indrapuri Number 10 and looted money with gunns.
They then went to the R-Block roundabout.
The City of SP (center) of Ambarah Rahul along with police officials from the nearest police stations rushed to the site and also questioned the car driver, Chandan Sharma, residents of Lalganj in Vaishali, and Sanjeet, native district suggestions.
Authoritative sources said the SSP upendra Kumar Sharma then visited the residence of Veena Shahi, son-in-law of the former Union Minister of the Union.
City SP Rahul said CCTV recording along the Atal Road was obtained to ensure the gang identity involved in booty.
“We will soon solve this case,” he told reporters.
The son-in-law of the former minister, Harshendra, told the police that employees used to bring the money in the same vehicle for a long time.
“Staff has been associated with old agencies,” Anunay, Transportation Service Manager Maa Janki, told investigative officials.
Previously, a trader was shot and robbed RS15 Lakh under the Malsalama police station at Patna City Sunday night.
