Ahmedabad: Colleges affiliated with Gujarat University are left with 6,000 empty seats for BSC courses.
This was after the acceptance committee conducted three revenue rounds so far this year with a total of 14,700 seats, said sources close to development.
“The number of empty seats in Gu Collages is expected to increase to 7,000 after receipt for medical, paramedic and pharmaceutical colleges held in the state,” said the source.
After three rounds of entrance tickets, GU has given the task of filling an empty BSC seat to college.
“These colleges must come out with the reward list and receipt must be supported by the university.
This will be a task that is quite considering a large number of empty seats,” according to the source.
The response from students to enter at Gu Science Colleges was quite boring this year.
So many empty seats in a year when class 12 candidates benefit from bulk promotion points with a lack of interest among students for this course.
