New Delhi: BJP on Wednesday slams the chairman of the Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal for the handling of severe pollution in the national capital for quoting numbers to accuse the city government spent 4,000 more times to advertise bio-decomposer promotions, which destroyed the agriculture stainble without causing air pollution, rather than Purchase chemicals.
Citing RTI replies and also the answers provided by the City Government in the Assembly, BJP spokesman Sambit Patra said the dispensation of the AAM AAM AADMI (AAP) has spent RS 40,000 to buy decomposers from the pusa and 310 farmers in the national capital benefit from it.
In addition, RS 35,780 was spent on Jaggery and Besan, which was mixed with chemicals, Rs 13.20 lakh on the recruitment of tractors and Rs 9.64 lakh on Tentage for the work, Patra said with sarcastic.
The Kejriawal government also spends more than Rs 15.80 Crore to “educate” farmers throughout the country about products through advertising, the BJP leader said, noting that the area is more than 4,000 times more than the money spent to get it.
The money will be much better spent in limiting pollution in Delhi rather than educating farmers about the benefits in countries like Kerala, he said, slamming kejriwal to blame other countries while doing a little.
“Advertisements everywhere but it doesn’t work,” he said, attacking the minister’s chairman.
Patra wondered if Punjab farmers and Haryana were most responsible for air pollution in Delhi, then the two countries must also be more polluted.
He noted that the Supreme Court in hearing about pollution in Delhi also attracted the government for its efforts to blame the city bodies, which was run by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Delhi President BJP Adesh Kumar Gupta accused the death of dealing with the “relaxed” crisis and noted that most of the promises he had done to overcome the problem was still not fulfilled.
Local party units will present a check of RS 40,000 to Kejriwal to “join” his struggle against pollution, he said.
