Bokaro: Eight criminals looted cash and Jeweleries worth Rs 5 lakh from the home of the businessman in the girow and fell asleep with his car.
A pine has been filed in cases and the police have begun investigated to identify and arrest robbers.
Giridih SP Amit Amit Renu said CCTV recordings from around the area were being scanned along with raids being carried out at the bus and train station stands.
The complainant, which was identified as the owner of the Uttam Kumar Bhadani Furniture Showroom, was a resident of Jalan Bakshidood adjacent to the Congress Office of Congress.
Bhadani claims that the men also struggled and his 13-year-old son Priyanshu before escaping.
Bhadani told the police that the men entered his house through the roof around 1am on Thursday and went around 3:30 a.m.
“First, they entered my mother’s room and held her prisoners.
Then they entered our room and struggled us.
Controlling us at the point of the weapon, they looted money and jewelleries and threatened to kill if we raised the alarm,” said the wife of Bhadani Devaki Devi.
The family lifted alarm when the robbers went and their neighbors told the police.
