Hyderabad: Milk vendor suspected of killing his wife after a fight by hitting his head with a shovel near the Budvel train station on Wednesday night.
Police Mailardevpally said that Meena was 45 years old, her husband Jangaiiah (60), along with their children living in a house near the train station.
On Wednesday night, the couple was said to have an argument after the milk vendor hit his wife in the head with a shovel.
The police told that the couple would often fight because of being addicted to alcohol.
On Wednesday night, Jangaiiah was suspected of being drunk.
The couple reportedly had an argument about this problem and he killed him.
Other family members were in a different room when the incident occurred.
Police said a case was registered under Section 302 (murder) from the Indian Criminal Code (IPC).
Jangaiiah reportedly escaped from the scene and had fled since the incident.
Accprent to the police, the couple will often fight because of alcoholism.
