Letter: Police Letter Cybercrime arrested a 21-year-old Harana man who allegedly lured a 26-year-old young man from the Olpad area of the letter online with a fake profile of a girl and began to squeeze money from him.
Unable to overcome harassment, the young men ended his life on October 31.
According to the police, the victim worked as a computer operator in a private company.
He hung himself to death on October 31 at his own residence, after which the police rander registered an accidental death case and began investigating.
Meanwhile, his family members know that an unknown girl had been squeezed who died and extorted Rs 20,000.
He had begun to demand more and the deceased even told him that he had no money to pay for it.
When harassment continues, he finally took his own life, police said.
After this, this case was handed over to Cybercrime.
A cybercrime police team went to Haryana and arrested the defendant Sadab Khan Sahab Jaan from his village in Sirohi.
Officials said that the defendant created a fake Instagram account using the name and picture of the woman to captivate young people.
After they were trapped, he would make vulgar video calls and also recorded his actions through a screen recording.
As soon as he recorded the victim’s video, he would start asking for money threatening to post this obscene video online, police said.
