Chennai: Two former Minister of AIADMK – KT Rajenthrabhalaji and V Saroja – both faced a different case of extortion, received assistance at Madras High Court on Friday, as the court directed the police to arrest them until November 24.
Recognizing their anticipatory guarantee application, justice M Nirmal Kumar verbally instructed the police not to catch them until November 24.
According to prosecution, the FIRS has been registered against Rajenthrabhalaji based on complaints that he has deceived money with RS 30 lakh songs from various people who promise work in Aavin, A CO – Cerderous milk-producing company owned by the state government.
Opposing the Bail Application, the Public Prosecutor Hasan Mohamed Jinnah submitted that there was one serious charges against Rajenthrabhalaji which he planned to eliminate someone by involving professional killers.
Recording the same, the judge said that he would take the problem for the final hearing on November 24.
For this, Senior Advocate M Ajmal Khan, who represents the Rajenthrabhalaji submitted that considering the current political climate in temporary protection in the country.
“If the police intention is to capture and harass the applicant, they will do it now.
FIR is registered on November 15 but so far they have not done anything,” said the judge.
Likewise, a pine was registered against Saroja based on complaints that he had cheated various people to the 76.50 lakh tone promising work organizer lunch at the State Social Welfare Department.
While Rajenthrabhalaji accused the cases had been registered with him because of political hostility, Saroja said that the complainant was a close relative and the case was caused by family hostility.
