Erode: The concocted All-Woman police on Sunday arrested a private school teacher on charges of harassing XII class XII students sexually.
The defendant was identified as V Tirumalaimoorthi, 49, from Sullipallayam near Perundurai.
Tirumalaimoorthi, who works as a biology teacher in a private school in Seamapuram, was ordered under the Pocso Law.
Member of the Erode-District Children’s Protection Unit, S Gnasankaran, conducted an investigation with the students after he was told by the Childline Regency officials.
“During the investigation, Gnasankanan confirmed that the defendant had sexually harassed the girl’s students,” said a police officer from the crunchy city.
Allegations also forced the girls to dance during the online class on September 2021, he added.
