Bhubaneswar: Comtroller and General Auditor (CAG) has decided to carry out the accounting of natural resources that will help the state and center in managing natural resources.
Speaking at the inauguration of the new development of the general accountant general in Khari Nagar, here on Monday, CAG Girish Chandra Murmu said the audit of natural resources would also help reduce damage to the environment.
Audit will include resource mapping, exploitation, expenses, and receiving funds, selling natural resources and environmental impacts.

Under the accounting of natural resources, CAG will prepare the major balance of natural resources such as minerals and energy, water, wildlife and land resources, said source.
