Nagpur: Brace for traffic congestion on many roads in the city.
Traffic Police Nagpur has provided an objection certificate (NOCS) to various contractors for six road closures to build flyovers and bridges in various places.
After stretching Kadbi Chowk-Gaddigodam who was busy closed for almost two years, the Nagpur Traffic Police had remembered NOC to remain closed for 90 days.
Applications that are looking for permission to maintain a closed stretch for vehicle movements for three months to deputy commissioner (DCP), the traffic office on September 27.
Having permissions given in September, the work can be completed at the end of December.
But permission was given on November 17.
During this period, the development of the Legaran and Metro Line should be “on the war footing”.
In a letter, showing off the DCP (traffic) of the Akshay Shinde firmly stated that construction work must be carried out 24×7.
Dr.
Shinde has also directed the company – AFCONS – to take all prevention steps so there is no unwanted incidence.
The police have divert traffic from Kamptee Road and to Wardha Road, from Mangalwari Railway Overbridge (Rob) to Kadbi Chowk.
The driver must use the conscious Residency Road to move towards the LIC SQUARE and so on.
Likewise, the vehicle that leads to Kamptee Road will be transferred from conscious Residency Road.
Traffic restrictions were also included in three more busy stretches to pave the way for overbridge three armed trains that connect Chowk Chowk Kadbi Chowk with the Santra market.
Although the deadline for Rob’s settlement was 12 months, traffic police had imposed traffic restrictions for a month, which will expire on December 16.
During this period, two wheels will be allowed to use the stretch of Kabdi Chowk to Motibagh Railway Crossing, while the four-wheel will be transferred from conscious Residency Road.
Similarly, the traffic that came to Motobagh Railway Crossing from Golibar Chowk would be transferred to Kadbi Chowk through Central Avenue, Ramjhula Kingsway and aware of Residency Road.
The four-wheeled traffic will be completely closed at the Santra market to keep the guard’s line, but the two wheels will be allowed to ply.
Both of these infrastructure works have begun to increase traffic congestion in the conscious area, especially in Mangalwari Rob, Residency Road and its surroundings.
Haphazard parking vehicles only add to the tribulation of drivers because the traffic zone consciously does not take steps to ensure a smooth movement of vehicles on this stretch.
Traffic police also limit the movement of vehicles at the intersection of the DIIPTI train and the Bandewadi train intermediary for the construction of Robs there.
Traffic restrictions on these two roads will be in place until December 17, stated the press record released by Dr.
Shinde.
