Panaji: After a long wait, booking charter from Russian goal has begun.
Rossiya Airlines has ordered a slot at Dabolim International Airport and the first Charter of Moscow will arrive at Goa on December 30.
India despite starting a visa from mid-November, and bookings from England and Kazakhstan began, there was a delay from Russia because of the worsening of the pandemic situation in his country.
Until 2019, the majority of Charter tourists received by Goa came from Russia.
For one season, Goa will receive three to four charters from various destinations in Russia.
The tour operator in Goa said reservations from Russia would take in January when Russia celebrated Christmas and New Year.
“I feel that starting in January, when Russia celebrates Christmas and New Year, more flights will be introduced,” said Ernest Dias, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Sita Travels.
Director of the Gagan Malik Airport said that every time the Cave Charter market has a pandemic to take a worse turn, it is reasonable that India and Goa will feel the impact.
“I have said that the start of the Charter Operation will depend on the conditions in other countries and the Indian protocol government that day,” he said.
When things stand up today, Goa will receive the first Charter this season on December 9 from Kazakhstan, while from England on December 13.
During the normal period, the Goa Cup season will take off in mid-October and conclude in May, with 800 to 900 wares landing for one season.
