Himanshu Singh Lucknow: Reeling under a severe financial crisis over the past few years, the Shivanand Singh family, a farmer from Lucknow, finally has a reason to rejoice.
Their son Vinay Singh, a Lucknow University Bachelor Bachelor Student (BFA), has been named the winner of the Bronze Chancellor Medal.
The medal will be given to Vinay during the meeting ceremony on November 26.
“This is not just a medal for me but hope and motivation for my whole family, who have suffered the old financial crisis,” Vinay said, while remembering how his father was under major debt because he lost plants and could not even sell the only plot of land They have.
“Pandemic Covid-19 added more challenges to our lives, but we did not give up.
My father took another loan credit card so that my studies could continue,” Vinay said.
“I will work harder and enter the textile industry so that I can produce not only to remove my parents’ debt but also to organize my own textile business one day that can provide work to people in rural areas,” he said.
While Vinay dreamed of taking employment opportunities to Indian countryside, his colleagues, who were also named the winner of medals, wanted to open schools and colleges in Indian countryside.
Suhani Kanyal from Isabella Thoburn (IT) College and Lu’s, Disha Mishra and Sharadha Pandey wanted to empower women in Indian countryside by making the best educational opportunities in the villages.
Likewise, Kuldeep Kumar Patel wants to be a professor and provides education to poor children.
Another bronze medal winner, Deshwal Puneet and Priyamvada Shukla, aspiring for a career in the field of law and fighting for less capable rights by becoming an advocate.
