Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday announced eight ‘guarantees’ for teachers in the state as part of his promise for reform in the education sector if his party won the 2022 poll.
Eight guarantees including creating a ‘similar-Delhi’ environment in the education sector, regular work for outsourcing teachers and contractuals, transparent transfer policies, no non-teaching work, permanent recruitment at empty posts, and a policy for promotion and medical facilities without cash without cash for teachers and family members.

He also promised to fill all empty salary posts.
Kejriwal said that education reform in Delhi was not carried out by Arvind Kejriwal or Sisodia Manish, they were carried out in collaboration with the teachers.
Kejriwal said Delhi teachers have been trained in modern teaching methods in Finland, Canada, USA and the United Kingdom, together with the State Management Institute and similar training will be given to Punjab teachers.
Kejriawal appealed to the teacher to join the party to create a conducive environment for education in the state, change the system and make ‘new punjab’.
