Rajkot: Samples of at least eight students have been sent for Covid-19 testing in Jamnagar after it was revealed that the teacher taught them was a 72-year-law brother of 72 years from Zimbabwe who tested the Positive Omicron variant on Saturday.
Tutors are also positively tested for Coronavirus infection on Sundays.
These students aged 5 to 10 years and they have been told to remain under house isolation until their test results arrive.
These children are residents of the Kalavad Naka area in Morka Road in Jamnagar.
Tutors have gone to receive NRI from Zimbabwe at Ahmedabad airport on November 28.
NRI’s 72-year-old wife, who accompanied her was tested positive for Coronavirus on Sunday.
Alleged that the wife of NRI and her brother can be infected with the same omicron variant.
However, Brother-in-law Nri taught students at his home, however, the teaching was stopped from November 28 as a precautionary measure.
After the tutor was tested positive for Covid-19, Civic Garnagar’s body official identified eight students who come into contact with tutors and send their samples for testing.
