Surat: A sessions court at Surat detained a 22-year-old childhood to ten decades of rigorous imprisonment for raping a little girl in May 2019 in a deserted location on Amroli-Sayan Road.
The courtroom of further sessions estimate P Kala also fined the convict Ranjit alias Anshukumar Gurjar Rs 8,000 and ordered that a compensation of Rs 7 lakh to its 17-year-old rape issuer.
“You will find many evidences from the convict that have been maintained by the court along with the woman also identified him throughout the trial.
The court took into account the convict has an offender conduct,” said added people prosecutor Kishore Revalia.
He added that previously too Gurjar was reserved for petty offenses.
As stated by the particulars of the situation, Gurjar’d abducted the woman under the pretext of carrying her back into her uncle’s home.
Gurjar told that the woman her sister-in-law was phoning her and that he had been requested to bring the woman back.
But rather than carrying her back into her uncle’s house, Gurjar chose the woman to Amroli-Sayan Road in which he chased her.
Following Gurjar dropped her back in her uncle’s house, the woman didn’t say anything as she was threatened with dire results from the convict.
But two or three days later after she became sick, she advised her maternal uncle concerning the offense.
The woman’s parents, who awakens from Uttar Pradesh, lodged a complaint about rape, abduction and breach of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in Amroli police station after which Gurjar has been detained.
