PATIALA: Residents of Taraura Village Kalan District Patiala, with the support of the Farmer Union Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKUEKTA UGRIHA), has protested for more than a month with the acquisition of village land which is intended to be obtained for the open state university.
As many as 42 hectares of Land Pancayati have been intended for the universe of the Nanak Dev State University (Jgndsou) teacher in Patiala.
Last month, farmers had Gherrao’s income officials who had reached the village to limit the soil to the university.
