Ludhiana: Stage is set for the election of the District Bar Association (DBA), the voting will be held on December 17.
Authorities said 26 candidates were in a commotion for the selection of DBA office carriers, including the President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary of Finance and Executive Member.

Of the 26 candidates in Fray, four is for the position of President, three for Secretary, two for representatives The President, three for the Secretary of Finance, two for the Joint Secretary and 12 for six posts of the executive body.
“Candidates can campaign until December 15.
“Canvassing will stop on December 16 because the election will be held the next day.
Voting will be held between 9am and 4pm and the results will be announced on the same day,” he added.
Authorities say the candidates each can install three in three places, including the front side and side of the parking lot.
“If we find posters elsewhere in the complex, it will be deleted,” they add.
While the election authority has pointed to places where candidates can install posters, this has been pasted outside the justice complex, too, towards the deputy commissioner of the office.

Authorities say there are 3,064 voters and Covid rules will be followed during the election.
Monitoring they are looking for a recovery of many water supply problems and other basic facilities.
There are around 1,000 rooms in both complexes for around 3,500 lawyers.
There are also problems with the security system in the court complex.
The number of inadequate security personnel was deployed even though there were more than 70 courts.
