Ludhiana: Thieves steal copper and nickel worth Lakh rupees from the cycle factory in phase 8 focal points on Saturday.
The next morning when I went to the unit, I saw a hole in the wall.
During checking, I found 36 baskets (216kg) from nickel copper and 60kg lost.
Stolen items worth around Rs 4,15 lakh.
A factory behind the unit was closed because it was sealed by the bank.
The thief went up to my unit through the factory.
“The police said,” CCTV’s footage showed two thieves entering the unit at 3.28 in the morning.
They went at 3.35 in the morning after making theft in just seven minutes.
The thieves threw nine empty nickel baskets in a closed factory that had been restored.
