Thiruvananthapuram: The country witnessed 5,038 positive cases of 68,427 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases detected, 485 vaccinated with a single dose, 2,509 full vaccinated and 1,333 people did not have a history of vaccination.
With 35 deaths again in the past few days it was recorded as Covid death and 77 deaths added to the appeal received, the total Covid death in the country had risen to 42,014.
The current total active case is 40,959, which 7.8% of people are accepted both in hospitals or other care centers.
At the same time, 4,039 patients had recovered from the disease.
Among new cases, 4,724 cases have been infected through local deployment.
Infection Contaction Sources Cannot Be Tracked for 244.
Thiruvananthapuram reported the highest number of cases – 773, followed by Ernakulam (764), Kozhikode (615), Kolllayam (453), Thrisur (425), Kannur (425), 327), Pathanamthitta (261 ), Wayanad (203), Malappuram (202), Alappuzha (200), Idukki (183), Palakkad (108) and Kasaragod (92).
There were a total of 1,63,682 people currently observing in various districts, where 1,58,990 were in their homes or institutional quarantine centers and 4,692 in isolation in hospitals.
In accordance with the weekly infection population ratio, 21 wards in 19 local bodies have more than 10% WIPR.
