employees on Thursday chose to join Union at a store in Buffalo, New York, delivering a coffee chain, the location belonging to the first company in the United States.
Workers in the second location in the city choose to reject the drive to set.
Employees at One Starbucks location in Buffalo chose to join United workers, an affiliate of the International Union service employees.
Sound count for the third store in the city of New York Upstate ends without definitive results because a number of ballots are still in the review, a process that can stretch to the beginning of next year, according to Ian Hayes, a lawyer for trade unions.
“We will continue to listen,” Rossann Williams, President of Starbucks North America, said in a letter to employees after voting.
“This is a preliminary result without the immediate change in our partner’s relationship because the NLRB process continues.” The results of closely watched results came when American company EYES NEW Union organizing campaign amid a shortage of US labor which has led to higher wages in most of the major restaurant retailers and chains.
Experts say the results of Starbucks can encourage union activities to other companies.
“Even though it’s a small number of workers, the results have a big symbolic interest,” said John Logan, a labor professor at San Francisco State University.

Already, three other buffalo area shops and one shop in Mesa, Arizona, have submitted a petition to the National Labor Relations Council to join the Union.
“I’m really optimistic,” said James Skretta, a barista at one of the other New York shops to call on elections.
“We feel as if this is validated for what we have done.” The results pushed Skretta to “hold for what we know will continue to be an anti-union campaign that is aggressive,” they said.
Seattle-based company shares closed around 1% lower at $ 115.35 on Thursday.
‘Aggressive Tactics’ Some local baristas have solved what they say is aggressive company tactics, including flooding the location of the buffalo with executives, holding meetings with employees and even bringing former CEO Howard Schultz to talk to workers and extols from the virtue of increasing wages and benefit.
Starbucks denied that one of his actions was the destruction of unity.
The company has several union cafes and a roaster in the United States in the 1980s, but all finally undersed.
This defeated a newer organizing campaign in Philadelphia and New York City.

In Buffalo, around 15 Starbucks employees who support union drives gather in a room to watch results.
Many jumped, screamed and hugged when they realized that they had enough votes to win the first shop to be counted, at Elmwood Avenue.
Voting is 19-8 to join trade unions.
Baristas and SHIFT supervisors from the second location at the Camp Road voted 12-8 votes to reject trade unions.
Hayes, Lawyer Union, said during a press conference that the union would challenge the results.
