When preparation for the implementation of the four-year degree program has not been completed, students now face problems, they say.
AIDSO leaders including the President of the Subhash District, Secretary Chandrakala and others accused that in many subjects, the syllabus is not ready until now.
Although the class began two months ago, students and teachers could not hold full classes because of confusion related to syllabus, non-availability of learning materials in many subjects, confusion over choice subjects, etc.
Agitators accused through NEP, the state government tried to impose a new subject instead of making selective learning for students.
The students also raised the problem of a large number of vacancies in college.
“There is an urgent need that appoints more than 14,000 teaching staff in the first-class government managed by the government,” they said.
Students then submit a memorandum to the UUOM authority demanding the postponement of the implementation of NEP this year.
