New Delhi: The day after NCP Sharad Pawar emphasized the need to expand the opposition block, the polarized debate about the form and leadership of the Anti-BJP alliance increased, indicating that the anti-Congress Pitch Trinamool Congress had exposed the fault that appeared to have been utilized in recent months.
The fact that NCP and Shiv Sena’s allies appeared on the opposite side of the discussion, with pawplant clothes echoing the Trinamool line on the need to turn on “all” non-BJP parties while Sena supported the superiority of Congress in any future initiative, explaining flux that current opposition block.
Opposition leaders across the party argue that there may be benefits in demand to expand the same-minded blocks but the line “almost anti-Congress”, efforts to hold a party to recognize leadership, will not wash.
“If someone is uncomfortable with an upa, there may be a new formation and more parties can be invited.
But the congress must be a big player in grouping, still has the support of the major regional parties.
Trinamool seems to hate the idea of giving the interests of Congress.
This cannot be successful , “said the opposition leader from the non-Congress party.
At the core of the Raging Row triggered by Trinamool is a problem of leadership.
While TMC throws Mamata as an alleged leader, most parties hold that Ticklish subject must be left for 2024.
Interestingly, because NCP spokesman Nawab Malik on Tuesday stressed the need for more parties to join the opposition block and argue that there are more anti-party BJP outside the upa then inside, he refused to touch the problem of leadership.
Even the leader of Sena Sanjay Raut, who met Rahul Gandhi and told reporters that he urged him to lead in the opposition unity, fending query about who should be at the top of the anti-BJP grouping.
Trinamool’s anti-congressional line, even at risk of appearing to play solo, it has been full on display during parliamentary winter sessions.
While all opposition parties including NCP and Shiv Sena have attended a daily strategy meeting chaired by opposition leaders at Rajya Sabha Malikarjun Kharge, TMC has moved away.
