Chennai: The 26-year-old canteen staff from a private hospital was arrested sexually abused a little girl received at the hospital in Chetpet.
The person arrested, who came from above, allegedly behaved badly with the nine-year-old girl admitted at the hospital on Thursday.
The man accused was allegedly approached the girl when he was alone in the room and tried to attack him sexually.
The girl had stepped out of the ward to buy something, when the defendant entered and behaved badly with him.
The girl told her mother about the incident when she returned to the ward.
The girl from the girl filed a complaint to Kilparuk all the female police stations about the incident.
After conducting an investigation, the police arrested the defendant based on the Pocso law and released him for the words.
