Completed / AVI Times News Network Kanpur: A four-member CBI team on Thursday afternoon reached the house of the Manish Gupta property dealer, a resident of Barra, who was killed by the police in a hotel in Gorakhpur on September 27.
The team took detail all incidents from Manish Meenakshi’s wife, and also asked father-in-law’s father and father in connection with the incident.
CBI Inspector Vivek Kumar Srivastava, who is investigating this case, along with the team reached Manish’s house at 1pm on Thursday.
The team first interrogated Manish Meenakshi’s wife.
The team collected details of all events from the start when he received information on his husband’s death until his cremation.
In accordance with family members, Meenakshi accused the police and senior administration and police officials to cover this problem.
“The team recorded the statement of Manish’s father, Nand Kishore and father-in-law of Madan Gopal Gopta in a different room for about 45 minutes.
It remained at Manish’s house for about four and a half hours, and at night,” said the source.
