Rushula Russia Rookie Nikita Mazepin will not compete in Abu Dhabi Prix on Sunday after testing positive Covid-19, her Haas team said.
The mazepine will not be replaced and Haas will run with only one driver, Mick Schumacher, because the rules forbid a driver who has not taken part in at least one session from racing on Sunday.
“Nikita is physically healthy, has been without symptoms, but she will now isolate yourself and comply with the relevant community health authority guidelines, with the security of the top priority for all parties concerned,” said the American team statement.
