Hyderabad: With many young, active and fit individuals who suffer from heart events during or after heavy exercise, general ideas that exercise makes healthy people under supervision.
While the chances of heart stops because they exercise carefully far less when compared to heart events because they don’t exercise and lead an unhealthy lifestyle, voice experts are careful when exercising.
Most importantly when doing heavy weight exercises such as weight and running on the treadmill is that heart rate or pulse need to be monitored.
“In terms of low impact exercises such as walking, swimming, etc., monitoring the heartbeat is not a must, but when doing high intensity exercises even people who are fully healthy need to monitor these levels,” Dr.
Rajasekhar Varada, a senior consultant, Yashoda Hospital , say.
“The ideal is about 70% of the highest heartbeat that someone can do.
The highest level is calculated as 220 minus the age of the person.
So, for children aged 60 years, the highest level they can do is 160 and ideally have to only be around 100.
Interval training, even healthy people must do it under the guidance of a professional, “he said.
The reason for being careful with interval training is that it increases the heartbeat to a high level for a short period and then takes it to a low level.
For the majority of young people are fit, who have suffered from heart stops while or immediately after exercising, there is a underlying heart condition called hypertrophy cardiomyopathy.
Exercising is not the only thing.
“Stress encourages more people to alcohol and drugs.
Hormone changes because this is directly related to heart problems,” said Dr.
