Hyderabad: A passenger, who landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad on Saturday, was tested positive for Covid-19 and the sample was taken for the genome sequencing to detect Omicron variants.
With this, three samples are waiting for genome sequencing results.
On Saturday a total of 532 passengers landed at the airport.
So far, 3,767 passengers have arrived at Shamshabad airports from high-risk countries.
Telangana, meanwhile, saw 188 new Covid-19 cases and one death during the day.
According to the latest numbers, the number of active cases in the country is at 3,891.
The total number of cases from the beginning of the pandemic was at 6.78.142 while the toll road was 4,005.
