Patna: The investigation bureau of alertness that is hanged on mobile assets and does not move more than RS8 Crore is disproportionate with known sources of income from Labor Enforcement Officers Hajipur Block Deepak Kumar Sharma in a simultaneous attack on Saturday.
Healthy vigilance recovered RS1.75 Crore in cash, 988GM gold, including 15 biscuits and jewelry worth at least Rs 47.53 lakh and documents from 25 non-moving properties worth RS7 Crore according to the personal value of two floors in Bajrangpuri Colony under the area of the Alamgaj police station on Patna City.
The bureau source said the value of disproportionate assets (DA) will increase above RS10 Crore after supervision of confiscated papers.
The source said documents related to deposits in 42 bank accounts and post offices also recovered during the raid had not been checked.
This is one of the biggest raids that are conditioned in cases of non-proportional assets (DA) in recent years.
The Alert Bureau has recovered RS2.5 Crore in cash during such an attack in 2019.
Raid was also carried out at the Sharma father’s residence in Chandmari Colony under the City Police Station in Motihari, East Champaran.
But the sources said all recovery took place from the natural residence.
Seeing the amount of cash and jewelry, the Raiding team must utilize the currency calculation and evaluator engine of the government at the natural residence.
The source said the vigilance had registered a case against Sharma on Friday after a preliminary investigation where DA was found to be worth at least RS1.06 Crore.
“Da early RS1.06 Crore was calculated after taking the value of 12 immovable properties, including natural houses worth around RS2.33 Crore in accordance with the deed value.
During the raid, documents 13 new non-moving properties worth RS4.66 Crore Deed Value Recovered .
This brings the value of the roar of DA after the raid to RS8 Crore, “said a source.
“In addition, papers related to investment in 14 separate life insurance policies, 17 debit cards and credit and other investment documents are also confiscated.
They need detailed supervision,” said the source of alertness.
“The market value of the non-moving properties is estimated to be ten times more than the calculated based on the document,” said the source.
Sharma entered the service in 1999 and his wife Seema Kumari worked with the Post Department.
Sharma won the RS70 Lakh and his wife Rs 80 Lakh from their salary.
Their total profit was calculated at RS1.69 Crore and expenditure at RS31.33 Lakh.
Against their 1.37 crore RS saving estimation, the couple has moving and non-moving properties worth RS 2.44 Crore and vigilance to inspect DA worth RS1.06 Crore before carrying out a search warrant against Sharma.
