Nagpur: Ambazari police are doing Panchnama from the body who died out of the Ambazari Lake on Sunday, when they had to jump into the water again to save a 20-year-old boy who tried to end his life.
Harsh Mendhe, a resident of Milind Nagar in Pachpaoli, jumped to the lake to end his life but was saved by the Assistant Inspector Police Anchal Kapoor and two of the police Ambazari, and local divers Devidas Jambhulkar, who jumped to the lake to save him.

Senior Inspector Police Law Ambazari Ashok Bagul said his team was doing Panchnama from the body of Rajesh Kale aged 50 years after being found floating in the Ambazari Lake.
“When the formality is complete, there is a voice of someone who jumps to the deceased.
The victim is barely floating.
Our team jumped in feeling the problem, and pulled it out of danger,” said Bagul, adding the young man mentally disturbed.
Bagul said Membe had to be advised before he agreed to share his father’s cellphone number.
“Mende has experienced depression and he has tried drastic action that ends life in the past too.
We all advised him long before uniting with his father,” said the senior PI.
He said the young man had been shaken by the death of his terrible mother before his eyes, which greatly affected him.
Bagul said police Ambazari had put up cellphone numbers of all senior officers in prominent places along two lakes, futala and Ambazari, so people could ask for help from them.
“We have managed to save four lives so far from the edge of the lake.
The police constantly advised young children to remain safe and positive thinking.
As far as possible, Lakesides stored under the watch to ensure the lives are not lost,” Bagul said.
