New Delhi: The bill that proposes to change the salaries and services of the actions of the Supreme Court judges and the High Court has been approved by Rajya Sabha Monday.
The bill was intended to seek clarity for the age of retireing the High Court and the Supreme Court Judge and determined when they could receive an increase in pensions.
The bill, which was passed by Lok Sabha on December 8, will turn the Judge of the High Court (Salary and Service Condition) ACT, 1954 and the Supreme Court Judge (Salary and Service Condition) Act, 1958.

The bill is trying to bring “explanatory clarification” about the age of eligibility to increase retirement for retirees.
Thus, additional quantum pensions for HCS and Supreme Court retired judges are being agreed to settle the age of 80 years, 85 years, 90 years, 95 years and 100 years, as well.
