New Delhi: Minister of Environment Gopal Rai, who held a meeting with various departments on Monday to review the situation of air pollution, said his department has continued the proposal for the Ministry of Education to the Air Quality Management Commission in the National Capital Region and the Caqm of Caqm to reopen Schools and colleges.

In an ongoing anti-dust campaign, 6,953 sites are checked.
Of these, 597 was issued notification for violations and RS 1.65 crore finely worn on them.
Under the anti-open combustion campaign, 16,580 sites are visited.
