New Delhi: Indira Gandhi International Airport has introduced e-boarding facilities to ensure “digital travel without contact and without contact” for passengers, the operator said on Monday.

The e-boarding gate without contact is equipped with a card scanner, which allows passengers to flash their physical trajectory or boarding to verify flight details so that they can continue for security checks, calls in a statement.
It adds that passengers who get their boarding pass verified by scanning in e-gates do not need to show their documents again.
There are three different lanes at the e-boarding gate – width, ‘normal’ and double.
The width e-gate is for passengers who carry heavy luggage or those who are reduced by mobility.
Passengers only carry hand baggage can run through the designated e-gates as ‘normal’.
Double options will offer a wide and ‘normal’ lane.
