Madurai MP wrote to CBSE on Misoginist text

Madurai: Observing that the paper question class X Trisemester contains misogynistic content and very regressive thinking about the family structure and female liberation, Madurai MP Su Venkatsan on Monday wrote to the Central Educational Council of the Secondary Education Chief, Manoj Ahuja, looking for its intervention.
MP, in his letter, said that in certain question papers, articles for questioning questions, containing regressive ideas about the family system.
He highlighted two lines of articles, which read, “What is slow to observe is that women’s emancipation has destroyed the authority of the parent for children.
