ISLAMABAD: Gunmen shot and killed two policemen patrolling a residential place from the Pakistani capital Islamabad, the interior ministry and authorities said Friday.
Nobody claimed responsibility for the Thursday night assault at the Shamas Colony area.
Past such strikes in Islamabad and elsewhere are maintained by national militant groups such as the Pakistani Taliban.
According to a police announcement, officials have established hunt attempts to arrest the offenders.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed condemned the assault, and also ordered a stunt.
In a video statement, he said these strikes were climbing and attempts were underway to create Islamabad a”safe zone” The funding shares a boundary with all the most populous Punjab province, in addition to the nation’s northwest passage to Afghanistan.
