Hong Kong: Dozens of people trapped on the roof of the Hong Kong skyscraper after a big fire broke out Wednesday, when firefighters hurried to save them and remove the fire.
The fire starts in the afternoon at the World Trade Center in Gloucester Road in the Causeway Bay shopping area which is popular in the city, according to government notice.
This 38-floor building accommodates both offices and malls.
At least one person was injured in the fire and sent to the hospital.
Firefighters use an extended ladder to save some people who are stuck on the lower floor of the building.
Other people were said to be trapped at the restaurant in the mall, according to the local South China Post morning newspaper.
The fire was enhanced to the level three incident, according to the police notice.
The fire was rated on a scale of one to five, with five was the worst.
Firefighters have mobilized two respiratory equipment teams and two water jets to help fight fire, police said.
