New Delhi: Close 1,000 seats provided for less fortunate parts / groups (EWS / DG) and 5,000 seats for children with special needs (CWSN) are still empty in Delhi private schools.
This encourages the education directorate (DOE) to call for fresh applications for new lotteries, which will be held on Friday.
Of the 25% of the total seats protected by Law 12 (1) (c) the rights to the 2009 Act education, 22% of them for EWS candidates / DG and 3% for CWSN.
For the CSWN category, Doe has been searching for fresh applications several times before too.
Safe! You have managed to throw your voteogin to see the results of the first lottery under this category for the 2021-22 academic session on 30 April.
The latest is held on December 3 for 5,500 seats.
Submission of centralized application for the next lottery that ends on Monday.
Of the 45,000 seats booked in the entry-level class (nursery / kg / i), lot lottery has been held for 33,000 seats this year.
Of these, 29,900 seats were in schools affiliated with DOE, while others were at the Institute recognized by city companies.
DOE initially said that it would not have a lottery as a private school association had moved to court against the direction of the government asking for school to recognize prospective categories ordered even though there was no general category receipt.
Because Covid-19, some schools argue, they cannot recognize general students.
Schools usually recognize one EWS student for every three general category acceptance.
This year, schools built on government land claimed to claim 100% allotment for their EWS / DG / CWSN seat, while those built on private land said it had got 50% of their quota.
“It seems that fresh applications are only for schools built on government land.
We cannot find our school in the list.
Many parents have waited to ask their children to recognize private schools,” said Chandrakant Singh, Principal of Radiant Public School and Secretary General National Private Land School School Trust.
Lot law was held after considering the previous year’s acceptance data, said a senior DOE official.
