Inter Milan have stopped the Eriksen Christian contract midfielder, said the Italian Serie A club on Friday, after Denmark International was suspended from playing in Italy due to the implant on his heart device.
Eriksen, 29, has not played since suffering from heart stops during the Danish opening match of the European Championship against Finland in June and received treatment to save life in the field.
Inter said in October that the Italian medical authority had suspended Eriksen from playing in Serie A, because the rules prohibited the use of implanted cardi-defibrillator (ICD) devices.
“FC Internazionale Milano announces that the agreement has been achieved for termination of the consensal of the Eriksen Christian contract,” Inter said in a statement.
“The club and the whole family of the Nerazzurri embrace players and hope the best for their future.” Christian is a key figure in our parade to Scudetto – team efforts contributed to their visions, intuition, and help and goals, including some big ones.
“Denmark midfielder scored in the match against Crotone who finally gave a title and he also captured a free kick against Udinese at the San Siro on the last day of the season.” That’s our final, remembering Christians who are happy and sad about the tone on the shirt.
Because sometimes life takes a turn for an unexpected one and sends you to the road you don’t imagine, “added the club.” Every Inter fan, every soccer fan, looks at silence, hopes for Christianity.
Seeing it back (on the training ground) in Appiano Gentile and his teammates, as Italian champions, is a joy to see and one we will never forget.
“Earlier this month, Eriksen has begun to exercise on the runway of his youth training.
