Bhubaneswar: Head of Minister of Naveen Patnaik on Thursday submitted a letter of appointment to 6,131 school teachers on the night of urban and rural polls in the state.
Large functions are held at the Kalinga Stadium here for new appointments to accept their promises.
“This is a record of all time in the field of recruitment to submit a promise to more than 6,000 teachers in one day.
It only took 47 days to recruit a large number of teachers.
New appointment included 2236 art teachers, 1779 Science teachers, 829 Hindi, 796 Sanskrit and Pet And three Telugu teachers, “said a government statement.

He said the government had changed 1075 schools in the first phase.

He has emphasized the provision of training to teachers for using digital applications in teaching and learning activities.
