Thiruvananthapuram: Two Omicron cases have been reported in the state.
Both are husbands and wives from Sharjah to Ernakulam on December 8 since the UAE have not been included in the list of high-risk countries, these two people experience self isolation.

Health Minister Veena George told those who came from high-risk countries to actually go to quarantine seven days and finish RT PCR at eight days.
Even if this test is negative, they have to go to quarantine seven more days at home.
For those who come from other countries, they also have to go for self isolation for two weeks, he added.
