Aurangabad: Although two consecutive state governments ignore agricultural loans, the suicide of farmers continues.
Activists have shown that after the neglect of the first loan in 2017, there were excess rain for two consecutive years.

As a result, several lakh tons of plants, fruits and vegetables ended rot on the farm for four consecutive years.
Activists accused that the micro-finance company (MFCS) also played a role in triggering suicide of farmers in the state.
In the first 11 months of 2021, eight Marathwada districts themselves reported 805 farmers’ suicide.

In 2019, 937 suicide farmers were reported in the Marathwada area – 761 qualified and 176 did not meet the requirements.
On February 25, 2020, the Government of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) announced the neglect of agricultural loans to RS 2 Lakh.
This is for a loan available between April 1, 2015 and March 31, 2020.
