NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in the World Environment Day event on June 5, 2021, at 11 am through video conferencing.
According to the launch from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the subject for this year’s event is”marketing of biofuels for a better environment”.
Throughout the occasion, Prime Minister will launch the”Report of the Expert Committee on Road Map for ethanol blending in India 2020-2025″.
He’ll also interact with farmers to listen to their own experiences of using ethanol and biogas Meanwhile, the Prime Minister Modi tweeted:”At 11 AM tomorrow5th June will participate in this World Environment Programme on the subject of’marketing of biofuels for improved surroundings.’ Would also socialize with farmers to listen to their own experiences of using ethanol and biogas.
“The event has been jointly organized by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Domestic Change.
To commemorate World Environment Day, the Government of India (GOI) is releasing E-20 telling directing oil organizations to market ethanol-blended gas with the proportion of ethanol around 20 percent in April 1, 2023; and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Requires for greater ethanol mixtures E12 and E15.
These efforts can facilitate the setup of ethanol distillation capabilities and provides timelines for producing mixed gas accessible across the nation.
This may also help boost the use of vapor from the ethanol-producing states along with the adjacent areas, until the year 2025.
Prime Minister will start a brand new Project of E 100 dispensing stations at three places at Pune.
He’ll also interact with farmers to obtain insight in their firsthand experience, as enablers below the Ethanol Blended Petrol and Compressed Bio-Gas Programmes.
