Te 132 employees at the South California headquarters of SpaceX have been tested positive for Covid-19 since July, according to information about the virus outbreak posted on the Los Angeles County website.
This is the highest number of cases currently reported among private companies in the county.
About 6,000 employees at HQ companies in Hawthorne Build and Falcon 9 Spacex Rocket Manufacturing and Dragon Crew Capsules.
Spacex did not respond to a comment request.
The CEO of Elon Musk has refused Covid bars in California and had previously opposed public health orders.
Musk himself was tested positive for the virus in November 2020 and was blocked attending the launch of four astronauts into space
