Mumbai: The Special Investigation Team of the Mumbai Police who conducted an investigation into allegations of extortion in the arrest of the son of actor Shah Rukh Khan Aryan Khan in a drug case tended to close it as actor manager Pooja Dadlani, who was allegedly handed over the money, had not yet appeared to give his statement.
A senior police officer said the police had sent calls twice to Dadlani, but he had not appeared before sitting.
When asked whether the police thought to close the investigation, a senior IPS officer told TII that in the case of Dadlani did not appear in front of them, they tended to close it.
A senior police officer said, “There were no official complaints of extortion.
However, so far there was no advancing to resend the statement.”

Aryan was detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau on October 2 in a drug case when he would take a cruise and detained under the following day.
He was released from Arthur Road Jail on October 30.
Kiran Gosavi, one of the witnesses, was arrested by Pune Police in October in connection with the case of cheating in Pune.
His personal pioneer, Prabhakar Sail, has filed a complaint in front of the Marg Mra Police Station, alleged that he had heard Gosavi talking to Sam D’Souza about the money required in the case of Aryan for his release.
Allegedly that Gosavi wanted to contact Khan to extort money.
He, with the help of D’Souza, allegedly met with a Hoteler, who reportedly connected him to manager Khan Dadlani.
D’Souza had claimed Gosavi and the others had taken Rs 50 lakh from Dadlani but returned it.
Sit had recorded Gosavi’s statement too.
City police, after receiving the application, forming sits and began investigating it.
