Thiruvananthapuram: There will be strict rules about vehicle traffic on the city road on Thursday and Friday in connection with the visit of President of Ram Nath Kovind.
The president who will arrive in the city on Thursday will attend a public meeting in Poojapura land and also visit the Temple of Sree Padmanabhaswamy at night.
He will take a flight back to Delhi on Friday morning.
On Thursday, traffic will be arranged from 8am to 1 noon in connection with the event in Poojapura and 3pm to 7 nights in connection with the temple visit.
On Friday, regulations will take place at 7am to 11 in the morning.
During these hours, there will be a strict ban on the parking of vehicles along the road at the airport, Chacckai, Pettah, Pattooror, General Hospital, Asan Square, Bakery Junction, Vazhuthacaud, DPI Junction, Jagathy, Sasthamangalam, Pipdiar, Kowdiar, Kuravankonam , PATTOM, POOJAPURA, KUNJALUMMOOD, Thirumala, Enchackal, West Fortress, SP Fort, PadmaviSom, North Gate Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Power House Road, Choorakkatupalayam, Thycaud, Mettukkalam, Althara, Vellayambalam and Raj Bhavan.
On Thursday, vehicles from Tirumala to Vazhuthhaud will be directed through PALLIMUKUKU, Pangode, Edapazhanji, Sasthamangalam, Pipinmoodu, Link Golf, and Kowdiar.
Those who went from Vazhuthaudaud to Poojapura and Thirumala direction had to go through Pallayam, PMG, Pattom, Kuravankonam, Kowdiar, Link Golf, Pipinmoodu, Sasthamangalam, Edaptazhinji, Pangode and Kalentu.
The vehicle went from Vazhuthacaud towards Karamana and vice versa must take the route through Pallayam, over Bridge, Thampanoor and Kilippalam.
The vehicle brings people to attend the function must be parked at the LBS Engineering College field.
On Friday, the vehicle went to and from Vellayambalam, Vazhuthaud, female college, bakery junction and RBI had to take the route through Kuravankonam, PMG and Pallayam.
Those who go to and from Asan Square, General Hospital, Pettah and Chackai must take routes through PMG, Pattom, Kumarapuram and Venpalavattom.
