PANAJI: For the second day, Goa reported the increase in Covid-19 cases even because there was little test done.
On Friday, 67 new cases were recorded as 54 reported the day before, taking the active caseeload case to 453.
The daily case of the daily case jumped to 3.5%, which was 2.3% on Thursday.
During the last 48 hours, 1,902 tests were carried out, especially less than an average of 2,500 to 3,000 tests.
That day also saw 43 recovery.
On Friday, five air passengers were tested positively on arrival.
From them, four was isolated at T B hospital, Margao, and one at the Cansulim Primary Health Center, because they were suspicious of the Omicron variant.
While Margao Urban’s health center did not see much fluctuations in its charge, the count of Panaji Urban Health Pans rose to 60.
