New Delhi: RSS-Affiliate Swadeshi MANCH Jagran on Sunday provides a resolution that demands that the central government really prohibit buying, selling, investing and dealing with Cryptocurrency by anyone in this country.
Laws relating to the issuance of digital currencies by the Reserve Bank of India must be framed “Fast” and the Digital Currency of the Central Bank (CBDC) is considered a legal tender, Swadesh Jagran MANCH (SJM) in the fifteenth national meeting.
“The resolution was passed by the 15th Rashtriya Sabha from Swadesh Jagran MANSH, which concluded in Gwalior today,” said Co-Convenor Ashwani Mahajan told PTI.
The national meeting has begun on December 24.
“The government must ban buy, sell, invest, and deal with Cryptocurrency by anyone who lives in India,” the resolution demanded.
It is also said that people who hold Cryptocurrency can be allowed to sell or exchange the same in a short period of time, depending on the provision of submitting information to the Income Tax Department.
“It does not comply with the ban must make people / entities responsible for financial punishment,” the resolution was added.
The resolution that is forwarded at the SJM National meeting argues that giving recognition to the cryptocurrency can cause severe speculation and have a negative impact on the financial market.
“Recognition can also produce money laundering and terror financing and conversion of capital accounts from the back door,” he added.
The Ministry of Union of Consumer Affairs and Corporate Affairs must launch a “aggressive” consumer awareness campaign, after prohibiting Cryptocurrency, to advise people not to fall prey to the “deceptive advertising” circulated by the exchange “called ‘Cryptocurrency'”, especially in Tier-2 City and Level-3, SJM said in its resolution.
“Laws relating to the issuance of digital currencies by the Reserve Bank of India must be framed quickly.
CBDC must be considered a legal tender,” he said, adding, “cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, Etherum, etc.
