Turugram: The Ministry of Health plans to find Covaxin for the initial phase of children inoculation aged 15-18 years.
As part of the drive, which is likely to start from January 3, the Ministry of Health has begun to scan data on the number of children who meet the requirements.
According to preliminary data, the city has around 7.5 lakh children aged between 6 and 18 years.
The health department must now find out how many of them are included in the 15-plus category.

Data on the number of children has been sought from 127 governments and 232 private schools in this district.
“We will hold a district assignment cluster meeting on Tuesday, when we will share details with schools on how to set up vaccination camps.
First, we will complete the data and separate the numbers according to their age.
