Panaji: The River Navigation Department (RND) has begun the process of restoring lease contributions from the Goa Yachting Association (GYA) with Captain Port which issued a recovery notice for RS 2 Crore.
Gya has been asked to pay the number in the first week of January.
A copy of the notification has also been sent to the Minister of the Minister of Office and the income of Jennifer Monserrate.
RND has said that Gya “illegally used the department property” in Dona Paula without paying rent.
RND has gone ahead and serves recovery notification, which does not include criminal interest, even though there are sustainable cases before income income regarding plot ownership.
The 43-year-old legal battle for ownership and ownership of the main land was played before Monserrate, because Gya wanted the Minister of Revenue to bring down the representative of the collector and the order of the sub-division of the land given to RND.
Deputy collector Tiswadi has taught RND as a legitimate shareholder again in 1989 and on June 24, it refused the new claim made by Gya above 251 square meters of land.
“The General Accountant Office calculates the rental value of the RND property at Rs 1.7 lakh per month and calculates pending rental contributions to the RS 2 Crore song, excluding interest in the recovery of you,” said Captain James Braganza in recovery see.
On October 22, TOI has reported that the Comtroller and General Auditor (CAG) from India has opened an investigation to estimate the loss of quantum income to the government, “illegal work” from the RND property in Dona Paula.
Furthermore, PWD was asked to estimate the rental value and arrived at a rental fee of Rs 1.7 lakh per month.
The legal department also appointed a government advocate on December 15 to request the RND claim to the land.
“You are asked to deposit RS 2 CR to the RND office in Betim immediately as a delayed lease contribution to utilize the property in the next 15 days,” Braganza said in the recovery notice on December 20.
