Jaipur: On Tuesday, the city reported the biggest single leap of 75 Covid-19 cases since June 11.
The country has reported 97 cases everyday in the last 24 hours.
Someone who arrived from France recently was one of the positive cases.
“We have shifted patients to a Covid Hospital specifically for treatment and the sample will be sent to the genome sequencing,” said a health department official.
One case Covid has been reported from the Gate Gate District Prison.
The main cause of worries is that 75 reported cases from the city comes from 29 different places.
On June 11, the city reported 115 cases of Covid – the highest number of daily cases in six months and 17 days.
Increased numbers emerge as a major concern for health authorities.
During the past seven days, the reported case from the city showed an increase trend.
Seven days ago, the city reported eight cases of everyday and the number has reached 17, 18, 26, 46, 43 and 75 on consecutive days.
In the last three days, 164 cases were reported from the city.
The Health Department official said that they oversee the situation that appeared and appealing to people to remain safe by following Covid’s appropriate behavior.
In addition to 75 cases from Jaipur, nine again reported from Jodhpur; Three of Udaipur; Two of each of Alwar, Bikaner, Bhilwara; and each from the city, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu and Ajmer.
In the last 24 hours, active cases also increased from 354 to 438.
